His signature is on the neckband around the bottle. Spirito wanted to pull from his Italian heritage to create a California Spumante. Spirito also wanted to bring more consumers into the Sparkling wine category and thought that a Spumante, a sweeter styled Sparkling wine, would help to do that. Spirito is now retired in Modesto and enjoys spending time with his family.
